Sorry mates, but a local skiing the valleys since way back before Valle Nevado was open or was even thought about... 1972, could not more disagree !!!

La Parva sure has some nice runs, and yes it is a bit higher than Colorado, but enough years of being a local I can swear that Colorado is a ski resort, whereas La parva has become a real estate business. Quality of management and ski run maintenance are far from optimal. Lots of time runs closed, lifts closed with no explanation, last year a close to serious incident on a chair lift (again bad maintenance) allow me to say that if you want to ski Colorado is better. The back runs facing east and south and absolutely the best in the area. And yes we locals enjoy doing stints at all 3 places, after all it is only about 45 min from home ;).
